Ethics
Our commitment to sourcing local products where possible is balanced by the need to offer choice to our customers. To this end we also purchase products and services from suppliers throughout Europe. As a socially responsible company, we aim to ensure that our suppliers meet our ethical trading standards so that all products are produced under hygienic and safe working conditions by employees, themselves treated humanely. We audit our suppliers, checking the origin and specification of all products, where possible ensuring they come from a sustainable source and meet industry-recognised quality assured standards.

Foodspeed is pleased to pursue a policy of social responsibility that extends to support for selected charitable causes at home and abroad. Charities we currently assist are:

This charity has built and runs a primary school for under privileged children in a remote part of North East India in memory of Hannah Foster, a Southampton schoolgirl, brutally murdered in 2003. The school arose from one man’s dream of free education for the poorest children, and his generosity, vision and hard work has achieved it.
